    • FY2025 Budget Review
      • Varied discussions: Variances between 750 – 25K for Creative District, seeking clarification.
      • Scenic Byways budgeting request clarification
      • Early Childhood, modified to $70,000 for FY 2025
      • General Fund currently includes City and County donations, Julie asked if we should move those funds to the Admin/Commerce Fund and remove the General Fund – agreed to do so.
      • Additional conversations ensued about funding for the Director position separate from the Economic Summit in the future.
      • Housing needs Assessment Income discussion, we will begin building a bucket for an action plan in 2025.
      • Workforce Development funds, plan is to roll it over the funds to next year, additionally, remove the apprenticeship expense.
      • Website upgrade expense increase in planning.
      • Adding a Technology line item.
      • Julie will make changes to the P&L and submit.
    • Next month will be Visioning/Strategic Planning Session in New Meadows – location TBD, but likely either City Hall or Train Depot
  • Executive Director Update
    • Economic Summit 2024 Recap – Overall a really great event, great feedback.
    • BSU Resiliency Assessment Update – 21st scheduled on-site assessment.
    • Gem Grant Update- report at the end of this week to be submitted. Received a bid from Agnew Beck to take next steps.

    • Valley County – no report
    • Cascade – no report
    • Donnelly
      • Elementary school meeting planned, re: After school programming seeking a grant.
    • McCall – no report
    • New Meadows –
      • YAC had a great fundraiser.
      • Community Center is doing some reorganizing, new programs forthcoming.
      • New business – Food Truck, Mountain Munchies.
      • Idaho Sled Dog Iditarod qualifier is on track.
      • Heartland Hotel is for sale.
    • WCMEDC Updates
      • Early Childhood Education (Trace)
        • Visited the McCall Donnelly Childcare Center – Free options, will have 2 separate facilities.
        • Met Scott and Kara at Tamarack regarding their support.
        • Brundage opened their childcare this week- free for employees.
        • Trace is starting the Leadership Academy this next week.
        • Speaking at the McCall Chamber this week – in-kind donation focus.
        • Seeking end of year to use all grant funds that have not been allocated:
          • Toddler Time at the library, looking to support the other 3 libraries
            • Motion by Belinda to support $500 for the remaining 3 libraries, McCall, New Meadows and Cascade to support early learning programs.

            • WCM Housing Trust
              • ARPA funds received from the county need to have decisions made re: Tri-plex Developer is taking longer than expected, ensuing discussions to maintain the funding.
              • Trying to get the taxes completed, so we do not lose our status.
            • Community Development
              • Creative District Update (Delta)
                • Executive Board has re-directed Lindsey to be more cognizant of her time and focus outside of the CD and to maintain our fiduciary status.
              • Payette River Scenic Byway (Cynda)
                • Did not have their regularly scheduled meeting.
              • Infrastructure
                • Will roll out an infrastructure document.
              • Broadband
                • BB Action team of last mile dollars being deployed.
                • Letter of intent was sent, but seeking additional follow up.
              • Workforce
                • SSA has an interest in teaching kids how to make their own boutonnieres.
                • We do have funding to spend.
                • Medical field career day focus with high school students.
